We have all heard about resistance training or strengthening in some form, so what makes it so great? Resistance training and strengthening builds lean muscle, lean muscle burns fat, now I know what you are all thinking ladies… ”I don’t want to bulk up or get really hench” The truth is ladies you would have to be training hardcore at least 4-5 times a day with a hefty amount of protein in your diet everyday not to mention testosterone, hence why men have bigger muscle mass.

Resistance work or using weights is actually a very GOOD thing for ladies to reduce chances of osteoarthritis and osteoporosis not to mention other nasties! Our 30 minute circuit at WOW is perfect for this! 10 stations of hydraulic air resistance working all major muscle groups within the body, the settings are changed everyday by our instructors from LIGHT,MODERATE TO STRONG the aim is to complete AS MANY reps within a 1 minute interval as possible before moving onto the next machine.

      Thank you for your message, we have memberships available suitable for just the circuit, gym and equipment use and yes we also provide a pay as you go service! The best thing to do would be to ring our team and we can book you in to discuss in more depth about what we are all about and of course you can come and get a feel of the circuit yourself it is a great workout for all round fitness.
